🚆 West Central Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2025–26: 2,865 Vacancies Announced
Notification No. 01/2025 (Act Apprentice) has been released by the Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), West Central Railway, Jabalpur inviting online applications for 2,865 Act Apprentice training slots under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the year 2025–26. This is a centralised recruitment covering Jabalpur, Bhopal, Kota divisions, CRWS Bhopal, WRS Kota, and HQ/Jabalpur.

📝 Eligibility Criteria
- Age limit (as on 20.08.2025): 15–24 years
- Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 yrs, OBC – 3 yrs, PwBD – 10 yrs, Ex-Servicemen – service period + 3 yrs.
- Educational Qualification: 10th Class (10+2 system) with minimum 50% marks (aggregate, no rounding) + National Trade Certificate in notified trade issued by NCVT/SCVT.
- Candidates awaiting results are not eligible.
♿ PwBD Eligibility
PwBD candidates with ≥40% disability (60 dB or more for hearing impairment) can apply for specified trades (Computer Operator, Electrician, Fitter, Plumber, Welder, etc.) as per category-wise guidelines in the notification.
🏆 Selection Process
- Merit list based on average of 10th Class & ITI marks (trade-wise, division-wise & community-wise).
- Older candidate gets preference in case of tie; if DoB same, earlier matriculation pass date considered.
- Document Verification will be at the applied unit/division only.
💰 Application Fees
- Rs.141/- (Rs.100 Application Fee + Rs.41 Processing Fee) for all except SC/ST/PwBD/Women.
- Rs.41/- (Processing Fee only) for SC/ST/PwBD/Women.
Online payment only; save the e-receipt after successful transaction.
📑 Documents Needed (scanned JPG, 50–200 KB)
- Recent passport size photograph
- Signature specimen
- 10th Marksheet & Pass Certificate
- ITI Certificate & Marksheet
- Caste/Community/EWS/PwBD certificate (if applicable)
🛠️ Training & Stipend
- Engagement as apprentices for period prescribed for each trade.
- Stipend paid as per rules during training.
- No hostel accommodation; candidates arrange their own stay.
- Completion of training does not guarantee Railway job.
🏥 Medical Fitness
Selected candidates must produce a Medical Fitness Certificate in the prescribed format (Annexure F) signed by a Government-authorised doctor (Gazetted, not below rank of Assistant Surgeon of Central/State Hospital).
