Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: MBBS degree from a university recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
• Experience: At least 10 years of medical practice in a Government, Military, or Quasi-Government hospital. (Relaxable to 15 years of reputed private practice.)
• Registration: Valid certificate from West Bengal Medical Council or MCI.
• Age: Minimum 35 years (relaxable for exceptional candidates).

Desirable Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree or Diploma in Public and Tropical Medicine.

Relaxations in age and experience may apply for reserved categories or exceptionally qualified candidates as per West Bengal government norms.
