The Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE), Assam has officially released two advertisements inviting online applications for the recruitment of Special Educators in Lower Primary (LP) and Upper Primary (UP) Schools. Essential Qualification:
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks
- 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI)
- Must have passed ATET/CTET for LP Schools
🔹 Upper Primary (UP) Schools
- Total Vacancies: 108
- Post Name: Special Educator (UP)
- Pay Scale: ₹14,000 – ₹70,000 + Grade Pay ₹8,700 (PB-2)
Essential Qualification:
- Graduate with at least 50% marks
- B.Ed. (Special Education) recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI)
- Must have passed ATET/CTET for UP Schools
Age Limit (as on 01-08-2025)
- General/UR: 18 – 40 years
- Ex-Servicemen: Up to 42 years
- OBC/MOBC: Up to 43 years
- SC/ST (P)/ST (H): Up to 45 years
- PwD: Up to 50 years

Reservation
Reservation will be provided for OBC/MOBC/SC/ST(P)/ST(H)/PwD/Women/Ex-Servicemen categories as per Assam Government rules. District-wise and category-wise vacancy details will be released later.

- The Merit List will be prepared separately for each district and category.
