01 January 2025 – 31 December 2025 - Position Available:
Research Assistant (01 Post) - Tenure:
Four (4) months or until the end of the project (whichever is earlier) - Monthly Fellowship:

🔹 Eligibility Criteria
- Essential Qualification:
- Postgraduate degree in a social science discipline with minimum 55% marks
- NET/M.Phil./Ph.D.
- Desirable Skills:
- Proficiency in Bengali, Hindi, and English (communication & writing)
- Prior publication in reputed journals
- Experience in handling large field data sets
- Knowledge of ArcGIS / RS & GIS software
- Working experience in R or Python for data analysis
🔹 Job Responsibilities
- Conducting field data collection in the Himalayan region
- Analyzing collected data using advanced tools/software
- Preparing manuscripts for publication and assisting in project reports
