The India International Institute of Democracy and Election Management (IIIDEM) under the Election Commission of India has invited applications for academic positions on a deputation basis. 🎓 Eligibility
- Candidates must be holding regular posts as per UGC norms in Central/State Government-funded Universities or Institutions of National Importance.
- Relevant teaching and research experience in disciplines such as Political Science, Public Administration, Law, IT, Education or related fields (depending on the post).
- Desirable: research publications, training programme development, curriculum design and experience in workshops/seminars.
💼 Terms of Engagement
- Mode of Recruitment: Deputation basis (initially for 5 years).
- Applicants should preferably have at least 5 years of service left before superannuation.
- Pay, allowances and terms will follow UGC guidelines.
📅 Application Process
- Apply online through the IIIDEM website under the Recruitment/Engagement tab.
- Until the online form is enabled, applications in the prescribed format can be emailed to head-hr.iiidem@eci.gov.in.
- First cut-off for screening: 45 days from date of advertisement; thereafter reviewed approximately every 30 days until posts are filled.
