Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications
- Graduate from a recognized university
- Proficiency in Konkani language
- Good quality voice suitable for broadcasting
- Knowledge of basic computer applications
- Konkani typing skill
Desirable Qualification
- Experience in journalistic work in Radio/TV
Age Limit: 21 to 50 years (as on the last date of application)
Job Role
Selected candidates will translate news from English to Konkani and vice versa, and present news bulletins and news-based programmes.
Selection Process
The recruitment will be conducted in two stages:
- Written Test (100 marks): Descriptive questions on general knowledge, current affairs, news drafting skills, and translation (English ↔ Konkani). Duration: 3 hours.
- Voice Test & Interview (100 marks): Assessment of voice quality, modulation, diction, pronunciation, accent, and suitability for radio news.
Candidates must score at least 50 marks in the written test to qualify for the voice test.
