St. Xavier’s University Kolkata Recruitment 2025 – Apply for Senior Office Assistant & Accounts Assistant Posts

St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata has released an official notification (Employment Notification No.: 01 (09/2025/NON-TEACHING), dated 26.09.2025) inviting online applications for non-teaching staff recruitment. Eligible candidates can apply online for the posts of Senior Office Assistant and Accounts Assistant.

Important Dates

Vacancies & Eligibility

1. Senior Office Assistant

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks or equivalent grade.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years as Office Assistant or similar role.
  • Skills Required: Computer operation (Word & Advanced Excel), interpersonal communication, letter drafting, file and office management.
  • Age Limit (as on 10.10.2025): 28 – 35 years.
  • Entry Pay: ₹24,300 + allowances (HRA 12%, DA 18% subject to limits).

2. Accounts Assistant

  • Educational Qualification: B.Com (Hons.); desirable CA Inter / CMA.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in similar positions.
  • Mandatory: Two written professional references to be submitted with hardcopy.
  • Skills Required: Tally Prime, Tally ERP, MS Word & Excel, Income Tax, GST, PF, ESI, salary sheet preparation, invoice processing, financial statements and report compilation.
  • Age Limit (as on 10.10.2025): 25 – 35 years.
  • Entry Pay: ₹22,600 + allowances (HRA 12%, DA 18% subject to limits).

Selection Process

  • Multiple-level screening may include:
    • Written test (screening)
