Job Notification: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

IIT Hyderabad, Telangana, invites applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the Department of Biomedical Engineering under the project titled:

Project Details and Duration

• Project Title: Novel Biomaterials and Stem Cells Based Skin Tissue Regeneration
• Department: Biomedical Engineering
• Duration: Initially six months, extendable up to two to five years based on performance and project funding.
• The selected candidate may also have an opportunity to register for a Ph.D. at IIT Hyderabad, depending on performance and project needs.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have one of the following qualifications with first division or equivalent marks from reputed institutions:

• M.Tech, M.S, or M.Sc. in Pharmacy, Material Science, Biomedical Engineering, Nanotechnology, or Biochemistry.
• Candidates from science backgrounds must have qualified NET or GATE (or an equivalent examination).
• 2–3 years of relevant research experience in the related field is desirable.

Fellowship Details

💰 Salary: ₹37,000 per month (standard JRF fellowship)
🏠 Accommodation: No HRA — the candidate will be required to stay in IIT Hyderabad Hostel.
