The Centre of Indian Languages, School of Language, Literature and Culture Studies (SLL&CS), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi has invited applications for the post of Field Investigator under an ICSSR Minor Research Project titled “Contribution of Hindi Translation of Adivasi Oral Literature in Conservation of Culture.” The project is supervised by Dr. Ganga Sahay Meena, Associate Professor, Centre of Indian Languages, JNU.

Job Details

Name of the Post: Field Investigator
Number of Positions: 02
Duration: 3 Months
Emoluments: ₹20,000/- per month (Consolidated)
Nature of Appointment: Purely temporary basis

Essential Qualification

Postgraduate degree in any Social Science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks.
Candidates with field research experience in Tribal Literature or Tribal Studies will be given preference.

Desirable Qualifications

Familiarity with Adivasi languages, literature, or oral traditions.
Experience in fieldwork and data collection.
