AIIMS Guwahati Recruitment 2025: Apply for Field Data Collector Posts under National Mental Health Survey (NMHS-2)

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Guwahati has released a recruitment notification for two contractual Field Data Collector positions under the “National Mental Health Survey in India 2 (NMHS-2)” funded by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW), Government of India. This project is coordinated by NIMHANS, Bangalore and will be conducted across multiple districts in Assam including Sribhumi, Darrang, Barpeta, Dibrugarh, and Kamrup-Metro.

Position Details

Post Name: NMHS Survey Field Data Collector
Number of Posts: 02
Salary: ₹45,000/- per month (excluding local travel, which will be reimbursed separately)
Age Limit: Maximum 40/45 years
Tenure: Initially 2 months (extendable based on performance)

Essential Qualification

Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Sociology

Desirable Experience

Own two-wheeler with valid driving license
Prior experience in research projects/programs
Ability to liaise with multiple organizations at state/national level
Fluency in local language(s) and dialects
Experience in health-related field data collection and administering psychiatric survey instruments

Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute field data collection activities
Coordinate with local authorities and monitor survey progress
Conduct data collection as per approved plan and ensure daily data backup
Prepare daily and weekly reports and maintain prescribed records
