Vacancy Details
The apprentices will be engaged in multiple trades across Mumbai, Bhusawal, Pune, Nagpur, and Solapur clusters. Some of the trades include:
- Fitter
- Electrician
- Welder (Gas & Electric)
- Carpenter
- Painter (General)
- Machinist
- Mechanic Diesel
- Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPA)
- Electronics Mechanic

Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit:
- Minimum: 15 years
- Maximum: 24 years (as on 12.08.2025)
- Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and 10 years for PwBD candidates.
- Educational Qualification:
- 10th pass with at least 50% aggregate marks.
- Must possess a National Trade Certificate (ITI) in relevant trade issued by NCVT/SCVT.
- Note: Engineering graduates/diploma holders are not eligible.
Selection Process
- Based on merit list prepared from marks obtained in 10th (Matriculation) and ITI (average percentage).
- No written test or interview.
- Document verification & medical fitness required.
Application Fee
- ₹100/- (Non-refundable)
- No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates.
- Payment through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/UPI.
Stipend & Training
- Training Period: 1 year (for all trades).
- Stipend: As per Railway Board rules – ₹7,000 per month for ITI certificate holders.
