Department of Geography

• Professor – 1 Post (Open/SC)
• Associate Professor – 1 Post (UR)

  • Specialization in Regional Planning (OBC/MOBC)
  • Specialization in Fluvial Geomorphology (UR)

Pay Scale

• Professor: ₹1,44,200 – ₹2,18,200
• Associate Professor: ₹1,31,400 – ₹2,17,100
• Assistant Professor: ₹57,700 – ₹1,82,400

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum qualifications as per UGC norms.
• For Associate Professor & Professor, a minimum of two and three publications respectively indexed in Scopus/Web of Science is mandatory.
• Mere fulfillment of minimum eligibility does not guarantee an interview call.

• Submit the completed application along with 08 photocopies and a Bank Draft of ₹2,000 in favor of the Registrar, Dibrugarh University, payable at Punjab National Bank, Dibrugarh University Branch (code: 994000).

• Last date for submission: 10.10.2025
