Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE) Guwahati Recruitment 2025 – Mentor Posts under SVEP Project
The Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE), Guwahati, an organization under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India, has announced a Walk-In Interview for the post of Mentor under the Start-up Village Entrepreneurship Programme (SVEP) on a purely honorarium basis.
Position Details
- Post Name: Mentor
- Honorarium: ₹30,000/- per month
- No. of Posts: 5 (Locations: Pub Chaiduar, Sapekhati, Pakabetbari, Srijangram, Howraghat)
Key Responsibilities
- Guide and manage the work of CRP-EPs on behalf of the Block Resource Centre (BRC).
- Coordinate between SRLM project team and BRC to ensure SVEP implementation as per plan and schedule.
- Monitor progress of SVEP and suggest mid-course corrections if needed.
- Document and share best practices of SVEP implementation.
- Train and guide BRC members to manage the program independently.
- Support operationalization of MIS for SVEP and adherence to procurement norms.
- Be part of the State-level business advisory team and develop local benchmarks for enterprises.
Core Competencies Required
- Hands-on experience in the non-farm livelihood sector, business or producer organizations, SRLM livelihoods, or SVEP-like projects (minimum 2 years).
- Understanding of numerical and business finance.
- Strong team player with adaptability to ground realities.
- Compassionate, fair, and objective approach.
- Training and development orientation.
- Self-driven and motivated for social change and impact at scale.
- Willingness to travel extensively and stay in villages for 15–20 days a month.
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Postgraduate/Graduate in any subject with Mathematics up to Class XII. Preference for Management/Commerce/Engineering background.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in operations of profit enterprises or implementing non-farm livelihood interventions.
