IOCL Recruitment 2025: Apply Online for 537 Apprentice Vacancies in Pipelines Division
Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), a Fortune Global 500 company and India’s largest commercial enterprise, has announced its Apprentice Recruitment 2025 under The Apprentices Act, 1961. This is part of IOCL’s Skill Building Initiative for the Nation, offering young candidates an opportunity to gain hands-on training in Technical and Non-Technical trades.
A total of 537 Apprentice positions are available across Eastern, Western, Northern, Southern, and South-Eastern regions in the Pipelines Division of IOCL.

The apprentices will be engaged in different trades including:
- Technician Apprentice (Mechanical, Electrical, Telecommunication & Instrumentation)
- Trade Apprentice (Assistant – Human Resource)
- Trade Apprentice (Accountant)
- Data Entry Operator (Fresher)
- Domestic Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holders)
Region-wise seats distribution:
- Eastern Region (ERPL): 156 seats
- Western Region (WRPL): 152 seats
- Northern Region (NRPL): 97 seats
- Southern Region (SRPL): 47 seats
- South Eastern Region (SERPL): 85 seats

📌 Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Technician Apprentice (Mechanical): Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engg.
- Technician Apprentice (Electrical): Diploma in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engg.
- Technician Apprentice (Telecom & Instrumentation): Diploma in Electronics/Instrumentation-related fields.
- Trade Apprentice (HR): Full-time Graduation in any stream.
- Trade Apprentice (Accountant): Graduation in Commerce.
- Data Entry Operator (Fresher): 12th Pass (but below Graduate).
- Domestic Data Entry Operator: 12th Pass with Skill Certificate in Data Entry.
⚠️ Candidates with higher qualifications like B.Tech, MBA, MCA, CA, LLB, etc. are not eligible.
Age Limit:
- 18 to 24 years as of 31.08.2025.
- Relaxation: SC/ST (5 years), OBC-NCL (3 years), PwBD (10 years).
⏳ Duration & Stipend
- Training Period: 12 months
- Stipend: As per Apprentices Act, 1961 and IOCL rules.
📝 Selection Process
- Merit-based selection (no written test/interview).
- Shortlisting will be based on percentage of marks in qualifying exams.
- In case of tie: older candidate (by DOB) will be preferred.
