The Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) SHAR, Sriharikota — India’s Spaceport under the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), has announced a major recruitment drive through Advertisement No. SDSC SHAR/RMT/01/2025 dated 16.10.2025.
This recruitment offers opportunities for Engineers, Scientists, Technical Assistants, Technicians, and other staff across multiple disciplines.

SDSC SHAR, located in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh, is India’s premier launch centre, providing world-class infrastructure for national and international satellite missions. It hosts facilities for solid propellant production, static testing of rocket motors, and advanced radar and optical tracking systems.

📋 Vacancy Details

🔹 1. Scientist / Engineer ‘SC’ – Level 10 (Rs. 56,100 – 1,77,500)

Disciplines:

  • Machine Design – 1 Post
  • Industrial Engineering – 3 Posts
  • Electrical & Electronics Engineering – 2 Posts
  • Atmospheric Science / Meteorology – 1 Post
  • Analytical Chemistry – 1 Post
  • Chemical Engineering – 15 Posts

Educational Qualification:

  • M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc (Engg) or equivalent in relevant discipline with minimum 60% marks or CGPA 6.5, and
  • B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg) with minimum 65% marks or CGPA 6.84.

🔹 2. Technical Assistant – Level 7 (Rs. 44,900 – 1,42,400)

Disciplines: Chemical, Mechanical, Automobile, Electrical, Civil, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication.
Qualification: First Class Diploma in the relevant discipline from a recognized institution.
Total Posts: Multiple across different centres including Sriharikota and Rasayani.

🔹 3. Scientific Assistant – Level 7 (Rs. 44,900 – 1,42,400)

Disciplines: Chemistry, Computer Science, Fine Arts (Photography/Cinematography).
Qualification: First Class B.Sc. in relevant subject.

🔹 4. Library Assistant ‘A’ – Level 7 (Rs. 44,900 – 1,42,400)

Qualification:

  • Graduation in First Class, and
  • First Class Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science.

🔹 5. Technician ‘B’ & Draughtsman ‘B’ – Level 3 (Rs. 21,700 – 69,100)

Trades: Chemical, Electrician, Fitter, Civil, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Photography, Diesel Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic, Boiler Attendant, etc.
Qualification: SSLC/SSC pass + ITI/NTC/NAC in relevant trade from NCVT.

🔹 6. Other Posts

  • Cook – Level 2
  • Fireman ‘A’ – Level 2
  • Light Vehicle Driver ‘A’ – Level 2
  • Nurse ‘B’, Radiographer ‘A’, Draughtsman ‘B’, etc.
