Jadavpur University, Kolkata, has invited applications for the recruitment of one (01) Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the DSTBT-funded project titled:
“Cost Effective Design and Implementation of Health Companion System for Human Bio-signal Acquisition and Remote Monitoring in Rural/Urban Region: An IoT Prototype Model”
The project is funded by the Department of Science & Technology, Biotechnology, and Bioinformatics, Government of West Bengal (DSTBT) and supervised by Prof. (Dr.) Iti Saha Misra from the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETCE).

Essential Qualification
Candidates must have:
- Graduate or Postgraduate Degree in Professional Engineering (Electronics and Communication / Electrical / Instrumentation or equivalent)
- Minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA
- Qualified GATE/UGC NET or equivalent exam
Desired Qualification
- M.E./M.Tech in Engineering with knowledge of human bio-signal acquisition, LoRa wireless Tx-Rx systems
- Research experience in related fields with at least one published research paper
Age Limit
- Maximum 32 years as of the advertisement date
- SC/ST/OBC/Women candidates will get age relaxation as per Government of India rules
Fellowship
- Rs. 25,000/- per month (JRF) for 1st and 2nd year
- Rs. 30,000/- per month (SRF) in the 3rd year
Tenure of Fellowship
- Initially for one year, extendable up to 24 months based on performance
