📌 Eligibility Criteria

• General Eligibility:
  Candidates with at least 55% aggregate marks (or equivalent grade) at the Master’s/M.Phil level in the relevant or allied subject from a recognized university are eligible.
  • A relaxation of 5% marks (from 55% to 50%) is applicable for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/EWS/Differently-abled candidates.
• For 4-year/8-semester Bachelor’s Degree holders:
  A minimum of 75% aggregate marks or equivalent grade is required (relaxable by 5% for reserved categories).
• Special Eligibility (Forestry, Horticulture, Food Technology, Agribusiness, Rural Development & Agricultural Production):
  Specific Master’s degrees with minimum marks/CGPA as stated in the notification are required.

📌 Admission Procedure

Admission will be conducted as per the Ordinance on the Doctor of Philosophy Programme (OC-4) and regulations of the Doctor of Philosophy Programme (RC-23).

  • ₹500/- (General category)
  • ₹250/- (SC/ST category)
    Payment can be made online via UPI/Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking.
    (The registration fee is non-refundable.)

  20th October 2025

• Students awaiting final year results may also apply, but must submit their final marksheet before the entrance examination date (to be notified by the concerned department).
