✅ Eligibility Criteria

As per the UGC Public Notice dated March 27, 2024, the UGC-NET score will now be used for Ph.D. admissions instead of separate entrance tests.

• Candidates must hold a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade).
• Relaxation of 5% is allowed for SC/ST/PwD categories.
• Candidates with 4-year Bachelor’s degrees should have 75% marks or equivalent.
• Only candidates qualifying under the UGC-NET (Categories 1, 2, or 3) are eligible to apply.

Note:

• Category 1: Eligible for Ph.D with JRF and Assistant Professor
• Category 2: Eligible for Ph.D (without JRF) and Assistant Professor
• Category 3: Eligible for Ph.D admission only
