Tezpur University, a Central University established by an Act of Parliament, has announced a recruitment notification for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a CSIR-sponsored research project titled “Hybrid 3D Nanostructure on Biodegradable Flexible Substrate as Ultrasensitive Plasmonic Biosensor.”

This project will be conducted under the supervision of Dr. Biplob Mondal, Associate Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Tezpur University, Assam.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

• Essential Qualification:
  • B.S. (4-year program) / Integrated BS-MS / M.Sc. / B.E. / B.Tech or equivalent degree with minimum 55% marks
  • Must have qualified NET or GATE examination
• Age Limit:
  • Maximum 28 years as of the last date of application (21/11/2025)
• Age Relaxation:
  • Up to 5 years relaxation for SC/ST/OBC, women, and differently-abled candidates

💰 Fellowship / Salary

• ₹37,000/- + HRA per month for the 1st and 2nd year
• ₹42,000/- + HRA per month for the 3rd year (SRF)

⏳ Duration

• The appointment is initially for one year or until further notice, whichever is earlier.
• It may be extended based on satisfactory performance and co-terminus with the project.
