“Microalgal Remediation of Food Industry Wastewater Coupled with Biodiesel Production and Carbon Dot Synthesis: A Sustainable Biorefinery Approach.”

The project is led by Dr. Shivam Yadav (Principal Investigator) and Dr. Ritu Mishra (Co-PI) in the Department of Botany, Faculty of Science, University of Allahabad.

Position Details

Post: Junior Research Assistant (JRA)
No. of Vacancies: 01
Nature of Post: Purely temporary and co-terminus with the project
Duration: 3 years (subject to annual performance review)
Fellowship/Stipend:
- ₹25,000/- per month (First 2 years)
- ₹28,000/- per month (3rd year)
Funding Agency: UPCST, Government of Uttar Pradesh

Essential Qualifications

Candidates must possess:

M.Sc. degree in Botany / Biotechnology / Microbiology / Life Science with First Class in both undergraduate and postgraduate examinations.
Preference will be given to candidates with research experience in:
- Microbiology
- Algal Biology
- Nanomaterials
- Wastewater Bioremediation

Age Limit

Maximum Age: 28 years as on 1st April 2025
Age Relaxation: As per Government of India rules for SC/ST/PH candidates
