Walk-in Interview for Guest Teachers at Pakuahat Degree College, Malda

Pakuahat Degree College, Malda has announced a walk-in interview for the engagement of Guest Teachers on a purely temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified and passionate educators to contribute to higher education in West Bengal.

Departments & Interview Schedule

The college is inviting applications in the following departments:

  • Political Science – 23.09.2025 at 9:30 AM
  • Philosophy – 23.09.2025 at 9:30 AM
  • Defence Studies – 23.09.2025 at 9:30 AM
  • Santali – 23.09.2025 at 9:30 AM

Candidates must report before 11:30 AM on the day of the interview.

Eligibility Criteria

  • As per UGC and Government of West Bengal norms.
  • Desirable Qualifications:
    • PhD in the relevant discipline.
    • Teaching experience at the undergraduate level (if any).

Job Responsibilities

  • Teaching courses in the respective discipline (preferably offline mode).
  • Participating in other academic activities of the institution.

Remuneration

Payment will be on a per-class basis, not exceeding ₹10,000 per month.

Important Instructions for Candidates

  • Ensure eligibility before appearing for the interview.
  • The number of vacant positions is at the discretion of the selection committee.
  • Engagement is purely temporary and subject to renewal based on satisfactory performance.
  • No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
  • Candidates must bring original mark sheets and other relevant documents (Class 10 onwards) along with one set of self-attested photocopies.
  • Reservation policies will be followed as per Government of West Bengal rules.
