🔹 Pay Scale

Basic Pay: ₹56,100/- (Pay Matrix Level-16 as per WBS ROPA Rules, 2019)

🔹 Educational Qualification

  • MBBS Degree included in the First/Second/Part-II of the Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
  • A recognized postgraduate qualification (Degree/Diploma) in the respective specialty.
  • Must be registered as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council.
  • Selected candidates must register with the West Bengal Medical Council within six months of joining.

🔹 Age Limit (as on 01.01.2025)

  • Not more than 40 years.
  • Age relaxation:
    • SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen: +5 years
    • OBC: +3 years
    • Doctors with regular State Govt. service: up to +5 years
    • Doctors with contractual State Govt. service: up to +3 years
    • PWD candidates: up to 45 years

🔹 Application Fee

  • ₹210/- (Rupees Two Hundred Ten only)
    • Payable through GRIPS (Govt. Receipt Portal System)
  • Exempted: SC/ST of West Bengal and Persons with Disabilities (PWD)
  • Payment through Money Order/Cheque/DD/Cash will not be accepted.
